Envelopes and Addressing

The envelope is the first object the guests will see when receiving your invitation.  It must convey the proper mood, style, and setting that your occasion will include.  Many brides are having envelopes individually hand addressed to avoid the impersonal feel of mass produced, printed correspondence.  Typically the most time-consuming task for a lettering artist, these envelopes are each unique and can add a very personal feel to the invitation.  Impress your guests with hand lettered envelopes.

Envelope addressing is quantified by line, typically, and normal addresses usually comprise three lines.  Envelopes are usually comprised of an outer envelope and an inner envelope.  The outer envelope is formal and has the full street address of the guest, and the inner envelope typically lists just the name of the guest.  Samples are shown to the right.
